Here’s WHY Shraddha Kapoor Was Allegedly Replaced By Kiara Advani In Kartik Aaryan’s Next Movie!

Kartik Aaryan will soon be seen in National Award-winner Sameer Vidwans’ directorial – which was earlier titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha.

The movie is currently undergoing a title change to avoid controversy though.

Backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, the project is said to be an epic musical love story. Per previous buzz, Shraddha Kapoor was allegedly approached to be the female lead first.

But later on, reports said that Kartik’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 co-star Kiara Advani has been locked for this Sajid Nadiadwala film as well. Kartik’s character will reportedly be Satya while Kiara’s will be Katha.

Shraddha had allegedly quoted 10 crore fee

If the latest deets from Bollywood Hungama are to be believed, then the reason Shraddha was replaced with Kiara was the remuneration she was demanding. Shraddha, who’ll next be headlining two female-centric projects like Naagin and Chaalbaaz In London, had allegedly quoted a 10 CRORE fee.

“He was surprised with Shraddha’s acting fees as she had last worked with Sajid recently on Baaghi 3 for a nominal sum of Rs 4 crore. Sajid gave a final offer of Rs. 7.5 crores to Shraddha Kapoor, however, the actress and her team remained adamant on the double-digit remuneration. Sajid eventually decided to move on and sign Kiara Advani, who is currently on a high, for the film. The actress has been signed for an approximate sum of Rs. 3.5 crores,” a source revealed to the portal.

Kiara allegedly signed for 3.5 crores

The source further added – “He is happy with Kiara Advani and has signed her for a premium amount, that’s slightly more than her market value. Kiara usually charges anywhere between Rs. 2 to 2.5 crores for a project.”
