Seems like an all star-kid ensemble cast offering is soon going to be served!
As per recent reports, renowned filmmaker Zoya Akhtar is going to allegedly make a Netflix series on the popular American ‘Archie Comics’.
According to the previous buzz, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana will be essaying the character of Betty, while Janhvi Kapoor’s younger sister Khushi is rumoured to play Veronica in this adaptation.
The name of Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim was also doing the rounds for the role of Archie. However, the latest Pinkvilla article seems to suggest that not Ibrahim but Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda might appear in the series.
A source told the portal – “Agastya has always been inclined towards acting and after completing the basic education, is all geared up to live his acting dream. Contrary to the conventional mode of entering the world of showbiz, Agastya will first appear in Zoya’s directorial for the digital world and then move onto the big screen spectacles. If things go as planned, he is all set to play the titular role of Archie in Zoya’s feature for Netflix.”
Zoya Akhtar also has the Ranveer Singh-Katrina Kaif’s gangster drama which is said to be an adaptation of Martin Scorsese’s ‘The Departed’.
