2 South Movies Getting A Hindi REMAKE

Bollywood has lately seen several remakes of South Indian movies and we can say that the fans are loving it.

Now, as per reports, two other South Indian movies will be seeing a Hindi remake soon.

According to Peepingmoon, the two South movies that will be getting a Bollywood makeover are this year’s popular Malayalam film The Great Indian Kitchen and Nani’s Gang Leader.

Producers Vicky Bahri and Harman Baweja have bought the remake rights for The Great Indian Kitchen and are planning to roll the movie next year under the Baweja Studios banner.

Originally, The Great Indian Kitchen is directed by Jeo Baby and stars Nimisha Sajayan and Suraj Venjaramoodu. The film is said to be one of the best films on patriarchy so far. It revolves around a newlywed woman who struggles to be the submissive wife that her husband and his family expect her to be. The film follows her journey as she struggles to cope with the mountain of seemingly endless household chores, differences in opinion, and unfamiliar traditions

Coming on to the other film, Nani’s Gang Leader, it is originally directed by Vikram Kumar. Producer Akshai Puri of 12th Street Entertainment has bought the remake rights to this 2019 Telugu comedy. It revolves around five women who seek the help of a crime novelist in the making to avenge the death of their loved ones
