- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup curd Ghee
- Cloth with a hole in the center
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tsp saffron
INSTRUCTIONS: How to make Kesari Jalebi at home in Dhaba style?
Step: 1 First of all, prepare a thick batter by mixing maida and curd together. If needed, you can also add water to it.
Step: 2 Keep it for about six to seven hours till the yeast rises. When the batter becomes lumpy and smudges appear on the top, prepare the syrup.
Step: 3 Make sugar syrup by mixing water, sugar, and saffron on low flame. Let the sugar syrup thicken for the time it is left on high flame.
Step: 4 When the sugar syrup starts leaving the wire, take it off the flame and let it cool down a bit. Take a deep pan. Put ghee in it and heat it.
Step: 5 Pour the prepared batter into the bag. The smaller the hole, the thinner the jalebi will be. Now pour the batter into the hot oil. Cook on medium heat. And turn.
Step: 6 When the jalebis turn light brown in color from both sides. So take them out. Put in the syrup. Let them soak in the syrup for about a minute. Take out and serve.
