Hello friends, today we have brought for you the recipe of semolina appe -

INGREDIENTS

  •   Semolina 500 grams
  •   buttermilk 2 cups
  •   Onion 1 cup (finely chopped)
  •   Tomato 1 cup (finely chopped)
  •   Green chilies 5 (finely chopped)
  •   salt 1 tsp
  •   Green Coriander 2 tsp (finely chopped)
  •   cumin 1/4 tsp
  •   Rye 1 tsp
  •   oil 3 tbsp
  •   Baking soda 1/2 tsp

INSTRUCTIONS

Step: 1 To make suji ke appe, mix semolina and buttermilk in a bowl. Then add some water to it and make semolina batter. Take care not to keep the batter too thick or too thin.

Step: 2 Make a solution of semolina and keep it covered for 30 minutes. So that the semolina swells and after 30 minutes the semolina will swell. If this batter seems a bit thick, then add some more water and mix it.

Step: 3 Now add chopped onion, tomato, green chili, salt, cumin, green coriander and mix it and lastly add banking soda and mix it. Suji batter for making appe is ready.

Step: 4 Put some oil in the mold of the appe and keep it hot on the gas. When the oil becomes hot, put mustard seeds in each of the molds. When mustard seeds crackle, add a spoonful of semolina solution to it.

Step: 5 Now keep the flame of the gas low on medium. Let them cook for 1 to 2 minutes. After 2 minutes remove the lid and check all the apps.

Step: 6 If the bottom layer of appe has become light brown then turn all the appe with the help of spoon and cover them and let it cook again for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, the appe has started turning light brown from the other side as well.

Step: 7 Apppe is ready by roasting. Slow down the gas and take out all the appe in a plate. Similarly make all the appes.
